Nootbaar was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The 24-year-old was demoted to Memphis on Thursday but will rejoin the big club a day later since Juan Yepez (forearm) was placed on the injured list. Nootbaar should serve as a reserve outfielder until Yepez or Harrison Bader (foot) are able to rejoin the active roster after the All-Star break.
