Hill was promoted to Single-A Fresno on Wednesday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Hill was selected by the Rockies with the 44th overall pick in the 2021 first-year player draft but missed significant time while recovering from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in spring of 2021. He made seven starts for the Rockies' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate over the last month and posted a 3.48 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 10.1 innings and will now progress to a higher level of competition.
