Brown was promoted to Double-A Richmond on Thursday, Melissa Lockard of The Athletic reports.

Brown has impressed between the Single-A and High-A clubs this year, slashing .348/.439/.626 with 23 homers, 100 runs, 75 RBI and 43 stolen bases over 102 games to begin the season. He was named the California League Player of the Month in May prior to being promoted to High-A Eugene, and he'll be rewarded with a late-season promotion to prove himself at the Double-A level.
