Zavala was promoted to Double-A Frisco on Saturday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Zavala, 22, couldn't have done much better at High-A this year. The second round pick from 2021 hit .278/.424/.441 with 11 home runs, 10 steals, 79 strikeouts and 68 walks in 81 games. His 28.6 percent hard-hit rate and 14.3 percent soft-hit rate were also strong marks.
