Prince Fielder delivered an RBI single in the first inning on Tuesday, and that was more than enough for Anibal Sanchez as the Tigers topped the Royals 2-0 to pull into a tie with the White Sox for the lead in the AL Central. Fielder finished the night 1-for-3 plus a walk. He's enjoying tremendous success in his first season in Motown, hitting .309/.409/.520 with 28 homers and 104 RBI. As long as he avoids a late season slump, he'll finish hitting above the .300 mark for the first time in his stellar young career.
