Presley, who was designated for assignment last week, hit outright waivers on Tuesday, Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle reports. Presley will probably go unclaimed, as he comes with a $1 million salary and has hovered around replacement level since 2011. While he doesn't offer much upside, the 29-year-old could be Houston's first choice when the team eventually needs to replace an injured outfielder.
