Posey has exited Thursday's game against the Rockies with an undisclosed injury, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The star catcher was in clear discomfort rounding the bases after clubbing a home run to left field to cut into the Giants' deficit. He limped back to the dugout and went straight back to the clubhouse with the training staff. It remains unclear what is bothering Posey, but his status heading into Friday is questionable at best. If Posey is given the day off, Nick Hundley would draw in behind the plate for the Giants.
