Pollock was taken out of Sunday's game against the Giants after experiencing tightness in his left groin, Bob McManaman of The Arizona Republic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pollock's exit from the game appeared to be merely precautionary, and the severity of the tightness was deemed "mild," but the fact it is the same groin as the one he injured back in September has to be somewhat concerning for the Diamondbacks. The 29-year-old missed almost all of last season after suffering a broken elbow in early April, so he'll be hoping his groin tightness doesn't cause him to miss any more time than he already has had to in the past year.
