Tauchman (calf) played catch Wednesday, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

A calf strain has sidelined Tauchman since early September. He's not expected to have a chance to return this year unless the Yankees make the World Series, and even then, he'd only have a small chance to do so.
