Pirates released RHP Seth McClung. The 33-year-old was attempting to return to Major League Baseball for the first time since the 2009 season. He appeared in just one Grapefruit League game, working a scoreless inning and striking out all three hitters he faced. McClung spent 2013 pitching in Mexico and Taiwan, and could generate interest from other team's looking for bullpen depth.
