Pirates optioned INF Chase d'Arnaud to Triple-A Indianapolis. The 25-year-old infielder was sent down as the Pirates added right-hander Kyle McPherson and outfielder Alex Presley to the roster Friday. He didn't appear in a game during his brief stint with the big club.
