Pirates manager Clint Hurdle said Jose Tabata (quad) is not close to resuming his rehab assignment. Tabata had to be shut down after experiencing renewed tightness in his left quad on Wednesday. There had been indications that he could resume his rehab over the weekend, but it sounds like that won't be the case. Consider him out indefinitely.
