Pirates manager Clint Hurdle announced after Game 4's loss to the Cardinals that Gerrit Cole will start Game 5 Wednesday. It's A.J. Burnett's turn, but after Burnett was blasted and Cole was terrific in Games 1 and 2, respectively, it was a pretty easy call. The young right-hander will be on regular rest. Hurdle said that he wasn't sure yet whether Burnett would be available in relief. Cole held the Cards to just one run on two hits and two walks over six innings last Friday.
