Pirates acquired RHP Miles Mikolas and OF Jaff Decker from the Padres in exchange for OF Alex Dickerson. Mikolas was designated for assignment by San Diego last week. The 25-year-old right-hander had a decent 3.25 ERA and 40/17 K/BB ratio in 61 innings this past summer at the Triple-A level and could factor into the Pirates' bullpen mix at some point in 2014.
