Pillar went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and scored once in Monday's 4-2 win over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
The center fielder's efforts added five points to his batting average, and gave him a total of 25 doubles on the season, just six shy of his career high from a year ago. If nothing else, Pillar is a role-model for consistency. Outside of a poor May, the 27-year-old has hit in the low .270s while posting nearly identical on-base percentages in April, June and July. Pillar has certainly left something to be desired in a number of areas this season, especially stolen bases, but he's putting together a solid 2016 as it stands. He's still better suited for deeper leagues and daily formats.
