Pillar went 2-for-4 Saturday with a double, a run scored and two RBI. He's now hitting a robust .414 (12-for-29) over his last eight games with three home runs, eight RBI and nine runs. Pillar won't keep up that kind of pace, of course, but as long as he's supplying some kind of offense, his spot as the Jays' starting center fielder should be secure.
