Pierzynski hit a pinch-hit home run in the ninth inning Wednesday against Arizona. Unfortunately, the homer off D-Backs closer Brad Ziegler only cut one run off a 9-7 lead, so it wasn't enough for a comeback. Nonetheless, after undergoing a rapid cooling phase, Pierzynski has bounced back a bit, with a four-game hitting streak -- two of those being pinch hits.
