EDGE Analysis
Phillips renaissance continued Wednesday, as he picked up a pair of doubles to bring his season total to 26, the most he's had since the 2012 campaign. The second baseman is on pace to score more runs than he has since 2013 while finishing with his highest on-base percentage in four seasons. Phillips has been on fire since the All-Star break, going 35-for-96 (.365) with 10 doubles, 16 RBI and 15 runs scored. He's also picked up his game on the bases, swiping four bags since the Midsummer Classic after notching just five steals in the first half of the year.
