Phillips led off and went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss to Texas.
EDGE Analysis
Phillips is just 3-for-15 since joining the Angels on Sept. 1, but he has acted as the team's leadoff hitter in all three starts. The veteran second baseman may be getting long in the tooth, but his consistent production (.287 with 11 home runs and 10 stolen bases) has kept him relevant in most fantasy formats this season. At the bare minimum, Phillips should be an excellent source of runs scored while batting in front of Mike Trout for the final month of the regular season.
