Phillips (knee) left Tuesday's game with a strained left groin. He appeared to suffer the injury while sliding in the first inning and then exited in the third inning. Ivan De Jesus Jr. moved from left field to second base with Skip Schumaker entering the game in left field. Consider Phillips day-to-day for now, but it sounds like something that could sideline him for at least a few games.
