Phillips is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Rockies because he aggravated the turf toe he's been dealing with on his left foot, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Phillips missed a game due to the same injury back on May 13, but this only marks the fifth time he's been out of the lineup all season. While there's been nothing to indicate he'll require an extended absence, turf toe often lingers for a long time, and there's thus some chance Phillips will miss more games down the road.
