Phillies signed RHP Aaron Cook to a minor league contract with a spring training invite. FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi was first to report the signing. Cook is coming off a strange season with the Red Sox in which he compiled a 5.65 ERA and averaged just 1.91 K/9. The soon-to-be 34-year-old will provide insurance for the starting rotation and will make $1.625 million if he's on the major league roster.
