Phillies purchased the contract of OF Brandon Moss from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Moss, 28, batted .275/.368/.509 with 23 homers, 80 RBI and an .877 OPS over 506 plate appearances with the IronPigs this season. He has a lousy .238 batting average and .688 OPS in the big leagues and should be used sparingly down the stretch.
