The Philadelphia Phillies placed left-hander Jose Alvarado (elbow) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to May 8) with left-elbow inflammation on Wednesday and reinstated right-hander Andrew Bellatti (triceps) from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.
