Phillies optioned INF Cesar Hernandez to Triple-A Lehigh Valley; reassigned RHP Justin Friend to minor league camp. Hernandez had a nice spring with the big club, hitting .313 (5-for-16) with one double and one RBI in 11 games. The 22-year-old batted .291/.329/.404 with two homers and 21 steals between Double- and Triple-A last season and could find his way to the majors before the end of 2013.
