The Philadelphia Phillies are making a strong push for Texas Rangers starting pitcher Kyle Gibson, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB Network. Gibson has had a rough go of things over his last three starts, but overall this year he has put up very good numbers by going 6-3 with a 2.87 ERA, 1.177 WHIP and 20.4 percent strikeout rate over 113 innings of work.
