Phillies declined RHP Roy Oswalt's $16 million option for 2012. An expected move, Oswalt will receive a $2 million buyout. The 34-year-old right-hander was limited to just 23 starts this season due to a back injury, but still posted a 3.69 ERA and 93/39 K/BB ratio over 139 innings. The Phillies remain interested in bringing him back at a lesser salary.
