Pelfrey was fantastic Thursday, allowing just one run over eight innings while striking out four, but he received no decision in a 2-1 win over the Cardinals. Pelfrey allowed only four hits in the game, one of then a mistake pitch to Jason Heyward that was deposited into the right-field bleachers. After an eight-run disaster against the Rangers last weekend, it seemed like Pelfrey was headed for some tough sailing, but he bounced right back. That one awful outing is the only time Pelfrey's lasted less than six innings or given up more than one run in his lat six starts. He'll look to keep the good times going against the struggling White Sox on Tuesday.
