Pelfrey managed to notch first-pitch strikes on 20 of 28 hitters, while also inducing 10 swinging strikes. The 32-year-old turned in a second consecutive quality start, and went at least six innings for the third time in the last four trips to the mound, after failing to do so in the four starts prior. He'll try again for his second win of the season against the White Sox next Wednesday.
