Pedroia said he has completely recovered from offseason knee surgery and will be unhindered in spring training, John Tomase of WEEI Radio reports.

The veteran second baseman underwent the minor procedure on his left knee in October and says he had no setbacks in his rehab. Pedroia is coming off a stellar 2016 campaign, in which he hit .318 with 105 runs scored and 74 RBI. He will be counted on to carry the Red Sox offense following the retirement of David Ortiz.
