Pedro Viola will join the Orioles Friday. He'll be around in case Jeremy Guthrie needs a trip to the disabled list. Guthrie left Thursday's start with a back issue and will receive an MRI Friday. Viola has been up-and-down a couple times this year but has appeared in just one game, tossing 1 2/3 scoreless innings.
