Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Pedro Strop (hamstring) played catch and did agility drills before the game on Monday. "He was pretty upbeat [Sunday] about where he's at," manager Joe Maddon said. Strop could return to the team later this week, but there's no guarantee he'll even pitch in high-leverage situations before the regular season finale on Sunday.
