Pedro Strop pitched a perfect ninth with a three-run lead for a save Saturday against the Marlins. It was a given that Hector Rondon would get the day off after Friday's blown save, so Strop got the ball in the ninth. It might have been Neil Ramirez instead, but he had worked back-to-back days already. Strop has pitched four scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and one walk, since returning from a strained groin last week. If Rondon has more problems going forward, Strop could put himself back into the closer mix.
