Pedro Strop closed out the Cubs' 5-1 win on Monday, pitching a hitless ninth against the Diamondbacks. Unfortunately, both of the Cubs' wins since Jose Veras lost his closing gig have been four-run affairs. Still, it's probably telling that Hector Rondon was the setup man and Strop was reserved for the ninth in both. Strop looks like the favorite for saves.
