Peavy will start Game 2 of the NLCS against the Cardinals on Sunday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The right-hander allowed just two hits over 5.2 scoreless innings in the Giants' Game 1 victory in the NLDS, and he'll be on eight days' rest when he faces St. Louis on Sunday. Peavy, a 12-year veteran, has made just nine starts against St. Louis in his career, the last of which came back in 2012.
