Peavy was dazzling again Tuesday night, allowing just one run on five hits, walking one, and striking out four over 7.2 innings of a 2-1 win against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. After a disastrous start to the season where he went 1-9 with the Red Sox, Peavy (7-13, 3.82 ERA) has turned it around in a big way in San Francisco. He hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his last seven starts - six of which resulted in wins - and he will look to keep it going when he faces the Dodgers in Chavez Ravine next time out in what figures to be a game with serious playoff implications.
