Pearce (wrist) hit a solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning against the Yankees on Thursday. Pearce, who missed almost a week with wrist soreness, tied the game at 5-5 by hitting a blast off of closer David Robertson. Assuming he had no setbacks, he should be safe to use over the weekend.
