Pearce (elbow) will start at second base for Tuesday's game against Kansas City, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Pearce aggravated a pre-existing elbow issue during Monday's game and ultimately left the contest, but he will be able to remain in the lineup against Dillon Gee on Tuesday. It's especially encouraging that Pearce will be able to play the field as well Tuesday rather than be used as the DH. He'll bat cleanup in the Rays' order.
