Pearce (calf) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

Pearce went hitless during his assignment with Double-A New Hampshire, but it seems like the Blue Jays were happy enough with his health at that stage to move him up to face more advanced pitching. He still seems to be a week or so away from returning to the Blue Jays, although more details on that front should emerge as he plays in more rehab games.
