Pearce (abdomen) will hit off a tee Thursday and take batting practice Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. If Pearce completes both activities without incident, there's a good chance he'll be available to play Saturday against the Rays. Pearce has been held out of the lineup for the past six games.
