Pearce (abdomen) remains out of the lineup Wednesday against the Reds, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Per the Baltimore Sun's Eduardo A. Encina, Pearce is still waiting to receive clearance to swing a bat. He's reported improvement with his abdominal strain in recent days, but until he properly tests out the injury, a return to the lineup shouldn't be considered imminent.
