Paxton (wrist) threw three innings (approximately 40 pitches) in a sim game against minor league hitters Tuesday, MLB.com's Chad Thornburg reports. Paxton expects to pitch again in five days, and says he will "absolutely" be ready to break camp as part of the Mariners' rotation. He threw curveballs and cutters for strikes and was able to move his fastball around a bit Tuesday.
