Paxton was excellent against the Red Sox on Sunday, tossing eight innings of shutout ball en route to his second consecutive win. That is 20 innings now since Paxton last allowed a run, and the 26-year-old has lowered his ERA to 3.59 with this string of effective outings after a rough start to the season. He will look to keep it rolling against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
