Paxton (finger) is yet to begin throwing, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports. Paxton began experiencing discomfort in his finger nearly two weeks ago, and he was shut down with the hope that the soreness would subside. That has not yet been the case, so at this point it's unclear when he'll be able to resume his throwing program, putting a timetable for his return to the Mariners up in the air.
