Paxton (finger) has been cleared to begin throwing next week, Shannon Drayer of ESPN 710 AM reports. Paxton strained a tendon in his middle finger and was placed on the DL at the end of May. After roughly three weeks of rest, he'll begin a throwing program next week, though the team is yet to announce a return timetable.
