Paxton (elbow) will throw three innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Upon completion of a bullpen session Thursday, Paxton was given an official start date and location for his minor league rehab assignment. The Mariners have not outlined a firm plan for Paxton but he may need one additional start beyond Saturday to build up his pitch count. Regardless, the lefty appears on track to return before the end of the month.
