Paulino's $4 million club option for 2015 was declined by the White Sox on Friday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Paulino started the season as the White Sox's no. 2 starter and struggled mightily before being placed on the disabled list for what turned out to be the remainder of the season. He is now a free agent, but his history of shoulder and elbow injuryies will likely prevent him from commanding a big salary on the open market.
