Paul Maholm will stay in Arizona to make a minor league start before joining the Cubs rotation on April 10. Maholm has been terrific this spring and will likely be the team's third-best starter this season, but he ended last season with a shoulder injury and dealt with the flu in March, so he'll be fifth out of the gate. He should have some NL-only value this year.
