Paul Maholm surrendered four runs in 4 1/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Marlins. The previous time Maholm faced Miami this year, he gave up one hit in seven scoreless innings. Today, he gave up two runs before he even had an out and four total in the first inning. He was better from there, but the Braves never did mount a comeback.
