Paul Maholm surrendered five runs (four earned) over six innings Friday in a loss to the Phillies. Maholm swapped spots with Tim Hudson to move up a day in the rotation, but he was starting on regular rest. The veteran southpaw allowed nine hits, including a pair of home runs. With a 3.81 ERA, Maholm continues to be a solid contributor in mixed leagues. He'll look to get back in the win column next week when he has a favorable matchup against the Marlins on the road.
